Chief Executive Officer

Chris Blunt joined F&G in 2019 after 33 years in a variety of insurance, investment management and wealth management roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Blackstone Insurance Solutions, after nearly 13 years at New York Life in a range of executive roles. Chris currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the YMCA Retirement Fund and is a LIMRA and LOMA Board Member, serving as Vice Chairman.

President

John Currier leads the day-to-day operations of the company focusing on the aspects of our business tied directly to the needs of consumers, producers, distribution partners and F&G team members. His responsibilities span our Retirement, Protection and Pension Risk Transfer segments serving a broad range of distribution channels including Independent Agents, Banks, Broker Dealers, Institutional Channels and Affiliated Partners. John joined F&G in 2015 and has over 30 years of industry experience. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and serves on the United Way of Central Iowa Board of Directors.

Chief Financial Officer

Conor Murphy oversees F&G’s financial management, helping to guide our business and strategic capital allocation to maximize profitability and deliver long-term value. He oversees the Capital Management, Treasury, Accounting, Audit and Financial Planning & Analysis functions for F&G. Conor’s extensive insurance industry experience includes executive roles at Resolution Life, Brighthouse Financial and MetLife.

Chief Liability Officer

Wendy Young has over 35 years of insurance industry experience and over 25 years with F&G, working in a broad range of actuarial, finance and reinsurance functions. Most recently, Wendy served as the company's Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Liability Officer, she leads all aspects of F&G's liability management, corporate actuarial functions, reinsurance activities and our offshore entities.
